MANDATE

The Works and Services Directorate is mandated to handle issues relating to acquisition, operation and maintenance of University infrastructural facilities as enshrined in the Law establishing the University and backed by the University Statute. The uniqueness of purpose of this Directorate in servicing all other Sections of the University makes it a vital organ of the University.

The activities of the Directorate in fulfilling this mandate include but not limited to:

Water Production and distributions.

Maintenance of water supply equipment and appliances.

Power generations and distributions.

Maintenance of all University buildings.

General electrical supply and maintenance works.

Metal fabrication and aluminum works.

Refrigeration and Air-conditioning.

Auto mechanical repairs.

Operations and maintenance of Motor Vehicles.

Road and Ground maintenance.

Sign writing and spraying works.

Wood Work and carpentary

Construction/Mansory works

Execution of related capital projects on Direct Labor basis
